He is the founder of Latitude Podcast Studio in Cape Town, an advisory board member of the Association of African Podcast and Voice Artists, and sits on the industry board of the Red and Yellow Creative School of Business.
He works with founders, businesses and creatives across Africa and internationally.

It is built on the recognition that podcasting is a design discipline.

The best shows are not recorded and refined into shape.
They are designed with intention before a single word is spoken.

 

The Podcast Design Method structures that thinking into four stages applied in the right order, for the right reasons, with a clear outcome at every step.

Stage 1: Intent

Before anything else, we establish the strategic foundation of the show. Who is this podcast for, specifically? Why should it exist? What does it offer a listener that nothing else does? Intent is the work most podcasters skip. It is also the work that determines everything that follows.

Stage 2: Form

With intent established, we design the architecture of the show. Episode length, format, recurring structure, tone, storytelling approach. Every element is chosen deliberately, not defaulted to industry convention. Form is where strategy becomes structure. The decisions made here determine whether the show is sustainable to produce and immediately recognisable to its audience.

Stage 3: Voice

A well-designed podcast fails if the host isn't ready to carry it. In this stage we develop the host's voice and on-mic presence, and build the trailer, the first public expression of the show's identity.
By the end of this stage, the show sounds like it has always known what it is.

Stage 4: Release

The final stage turns strategy into action. Distribution setup, platform selection, publishing rhythm, and a launch roadmap built around the show's specific audience and goals. Release determines whether the right people find the show, or whether it launches into silence.
